Coal Museum

 Because mining areas were closed following the coal industry rationalization measures of 1989, this museum was founded in order to preserve the site and to be used as an educational center for future generations.  On display are the various equipment and tools used in mining. Visitors are invited to use the simulator that produces the effect of descending 400m below the ground.
