Moonmu was buried under the sea
water of Kampo
after his will to defend Shilla from Japanese invaders.
King Moonmu began to build Kamunsa
Temple, But his son King Shinmun completed
the temple, so the temple was named Kamunsa
Temple (Temple of Filial Respect).
The 3-story pagoda across the temple shows t he beauty of well-balanced
symmetry and aspiring power.
