Busosanseong fortress, a mud fortress, is located on top of a 106-meter
high mountain called Mt. Busosan. For 123 years, beginning
in 538 A.D., it was the major fortress defending Buyeo, the
capital of Baekje Kingdom. Song Wang, the 26th king of the Baekje
Kingdom (18 B.C. - 660 A.D.), moved the capital from Ungjin to Buyeo.
Along the wall, there are various points of interest including a
warehouse site where rice was kept for soldiers.
