Sanbangsan

 Mt. Halla is often said to be the only mountain on Cheju Island and that the others are merely parasitic volcanos, but there are quite a number of mountains boasting their own beauty although they may not be as high or majestic as Mt. Halla. Among the many mountains, the most famous for picturesque scenery not to be missed is Mt. Sanbang.
 Legend has it that Mt. Sanbang was taken away from the tip of Mt. Halla (the place now called Paeknok-dam). The breathtaking beauty of the mountain attracts visitors at first sight.
