1. The present of Tae Kwon Do as a sport

Tae Kwon Do, which was developed for thousands of years with the history of Korea, has now become a cultural heritage which is shared by many citizens of the world, by being chosen as one of the official games for Sydney Olympics in the year 2000. Currently with 160 countries as its members, Tae Kwon Do is contributing a great deal to humanity's peace and harmony life which the I. O. C. has been pursuing, overcoming barriers of race, religion, ideology, government, and culture. Now here is a general introduction to Taekwondo's past and present.
