The 745 meter-high
Mt. Toham, as one of the five principal mountains
during the Shilla Kingdom, has traditionally served as a sacred
place of the Buddhist religion. Numerous relics and remains are
scattered around, making the whole mountain a historic site where
one can feel the Shilla's spirit. The
Sokkuram Grotto is on the summit and BulKuksa Temple is
at the base of Mt. Toham |
